We often say thin plate feeder, thick material feeder? So what is a thin plate, and how thick is a thick material? Are thick materials classified separately? In the stamping industry, coils with a thickness of more than 3.2mm are usually referred to as thick materials. Materials can be divided into the following categories:
1. Coils with a thickness of 0.3-3.2mm are called sheet materials;
2. Coils with a thickness of 3.2-4.5mm are called medium and heavy plate materials;
3. Coils with a thickness of 4.5-6.0mm are called thick plate materials;
4. Coils with a thickness of 6.0-9.0mm are called extra-thick plate materials;
5. Coils with a thickness of 9.0-12mm are called ultra-thick plate materials. |
